To be dissolved in the water of memory, 2024

The work traces how personal, collective memories are carried and sensed, inviting a slow temporality in which the body simultaneously acts as an archive of lived experience and a witness to its own becoming and dissolution. Through sonic, material, and spatial sensibilities, it makes audible and visible these histories situated in the body, allowing them to become porous and mutable—dissolving and re-illuminating in the present.

within and without,
whose form is elemental,
whose form is internal.
flowing, falling
A BEING IN FLUX,
A HYMN OF DEATH,
to be dissolved in the water of memory

Moment of salt flowing, suspended between movement and stillness, presence and disappearance.

The standing semi-transparent sheet harnesses the surrounding light, blending and interacting with architectural elements, while the hanging silver chains mark vertical thresholds in space. Each plane holds the transient memory between being and vanishing.

Performing as a space weaver, moving with the suspended chain rings to animate sonic and spatial relations, a choreography in states of becoming.
Act of disappearance into a spectral presence

Slowly, the stillness breaks, the blankets shift and crinkle, becoming a living, sounding organism that breathes along.

The rustling fabric fills the space with a wave-like sonic texture.

Body, material, and environment merge into a resonant ecosystem of living memory.
